Kelapa Sawit Kulai Johor Mural started two years ago when Kelapa Sawit Javert held “Let’s Art At Sawit” as a preparation for the National Day celebration in Johor. It was a campaign that aims to hone the talent of the people in the local communities. It is also a way to welcome the celebration in Johor. At that time, only painters are invited for the mural art. Unexpectedly, this caused the interest of the local villagers about the fresco. Under the supervision and guidance of the painters, the villagers volunteered to paint as many as 30 murals with the theme “Hakka Culture”, which become the inspiration of the villagers to paint.
